DVAS encourages developers to contact
us as early as possible when designing schemes, so we can help
identify and record quickly any archaeological / historical features
that may otherwise cause delays in the planning process.
If there is little known about the proposed development
site it is probable that the planning authorities will recommend
that the developer commissions an evaluation of the site.
